One of the cast members in Silicon Valley is in there
I only watch Anime. I guess I’m the only one here.
Not at all, just most of what I’ve seen is older. ^.^;
The wife finally talked me into getting Netflix streaming (we’ve had their DVD service for something like twenty years), so now I’m catching up on The IT Crowd… and still trying to resist wasting too much time on a lot more stuff. /
First episode was great
My girlfriend and I recently started watching all Marvel in order. I found a list somewhere that dictated the order and we’ve been following it. It contains all the movies and series. Currently we’re on “Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Episodes 1-10” followed by “Jessica Jones Season 1” followed by the rest of SHEILD season 2 and then Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’s a fun way to watch the entire back catalogue of Marvel stuff.
Something else that looks like it’s gonna be good from Marvel
What did you think of it Ohm? I loved it
We’re digging it. We’re unfortunately only at Jessica Jones Season 1 episode 6. Jessica Jones isn’t all that good compared to Agents of SHIELD or even Daredevil.
I just finished watching Barry on HBO. It’s really good, and I’m looking forward to season 3.
@AstonJ
That actually looks pretty good Jim!
Interesting film concept, script, jokes. I like it too!
A few days ago, I watched a film “The year Earth CHANGED” about the short-term changes that the lockdown brought.
I liked the film. There is something to think about.
Well about half of the Future Man series I saw recently, it’s a comedy involving time travel and “The Last Starfighter” style game handling. It’s definitely of the more gross kind of humor, but if that’s your style. ^.^;
I loved Future Man - it’s definitely worth a watch (I think it was quite ‘naughty’ too IIRC )
I’ve recently finished watching Netflix’s Castlevania series (season 4, which probably was the last one, if it’s ending is anything to go by) and I really, really enjoyed it. It’s a great western anime.
I didn’t play the original Castlevania games but it was still well worth the time.
Also I started watching Amazon’s Good Omens, which is based on a Terry Pratchett novel, and I’m really liking it so far. The chemistry between the two protagonists (an angel and the demon collaborating in secrecy to stop Armageddon, simply because they like living on earth), is out of this world (heh).
Castlevania is quite good too, saw it a bit back. Not my favorite by far, but quite good.
Oh I love Good Omens, it easily ranks as one of my favorite of all shows, it’s amazing!!! Highly recommended!!!
Good Omens is amazing. I loved the book by Neil Gaiman as well. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are killing it!
They just got renewed for a season 2, which caught me a bit off guard since the story concludes (at least in the same way the book does) at the end of season 1. I’m looking forward to seeing how Gaiman will continue this epic story - and sadly without Terry Pratchett.
I’m going to have to watch Good Omens now thanks to you lot! (but I want to get a couple of projects out of the way first otherwise I will binge watch the whole series!) I thought David Tennant was excellent in Dr Who, so definitely keen to watch it.
It kindof also reminds me a bit of The Preacher, which is also available on prime:
