That was an interesting read, and I agree with a lot of it - most of the ‘tools’ are useless, even Apple’s screen-time allows you to just bypass it! There should be a setting that sets it to strict and does not allow overrides (but even that wouldn’t be enough).
There’s some good tips in this podcast about breaking habits - fascinating because it’s not what I thought you should be doing! (Where when finding you are doing something bad (like picking up your phone) instead of just putting it straight down and back to what you were doing, go on to do something else that is positive instead (different to what you were doing)):
