Neat article. The last part about setting a billing alert is usually the first thing most teachers and courses tell you when you are getting started with AWS. If you don’t do that first, you’ll pay for it at the end of the month….

Good article, I’m thinking about learning aws so it’s good to know these tips and avoid trouble later
For me, I had an EBS with just 10GB and I forget about it.
Every month AWS is charging me a few cents.
After an year, I asked AWS support and they notify me the region and the EBS volume problem.
So, you should contact support if you still find some ‘hidden’ resources and still incur cost.
