  • Between 20 to 30 years
  • Between 30 to 50 years
  • Between 50 to 100 years

I am hoping with 10 years! But will probably be 20 to 30 because no doubt they want to screw every last penny out of us!! :icon_mad:

Itā€™s been ā€œthe next 20 yearsā€ for at least 50 years nowā€¦ :pensive:

The problem is super hard, there are almost no nations that actually fund long-term science so IMO that puts it well beyond at least a century from nowā€¦

On the other hand, climate change is already visible and maybe people will panic and start doubling down on science more. Hereā€™s to hoping. Although I donā€™t count of people being rational by default.

Iā€™d guess itā€™s probably to do with:

A) They (/their buddies) make shed loads of money through existing fuel
B) The impact it would have on the world - imagine a world with free energy

I have very little respect for most people in power. They are just interested in lining their pockets (or those of their ā€˜palsā€™) and donā€™t really give a damn about creating a better world :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
