I think every generation has a moment in time when something shows up to change their daily existence. The loom brought issues. The car brought issues. The calculator brought issues, and now the computer, in the form of AI, is also causing issues.

I feel for the younger generation, but it’s a tough world. You either adapt or perish. Use AI, or watch it silently use you, then replace you.

The backlash against AI is to be expected, after all many CEOs are proudly claiming they use (or will use) AI to reduce the number of human workers.
