I haven’t used GitHub Copilot that much, but having alternatives is good news for us developers.

AI should not fix developers code. This way we have only two ways:

  1. Fix is good, developers do copy-paste and most of them loses their jobs
  2. Fix is bad, the whole process costs double only if we assume that AI didn’t do more bad than actual “help”

AI should suggest articles, blogs and other resources from which developer could learn. Help in research is much more worth than any other task and there is absolutely no need to create perfect AI which produces perfect code.

AI should assist. because If it would do anything more, then it would sooner or later decrease amount of jobs.
