We have been using PostgreSQL for the past few years already, moving away from MS SQL Server. And it has served us well. Never had major issues in production.

I agree. The only thing I like about MS SQL is their SQL Management Studio.

PG will be better if there is a better query planner visualiser like Oracle / MSSQL
