Our giveaways are back up 
What changed?
We’re glad you asked!
We’d been thinking about switching things up for a little while, but it was actually all of your lovely comments in our last update that prompted us to finally do it! Not only have we streamlined how they operate on our end, but they’re now set up to reward all of our lovely members who stick around throughout the year - by giving you more of a chance to win 
How?
First, our PragProg giveaway will now be staggered throughout the year, with the number of prizes increasing through the year - this means those of you who hang around for most of the year will have more chances to win as fewer prizes will get nabbed towards the beginning of the year (often by new/fly-by members!) We’ll still be giving away 24 books, and new members will still be in with a good chance to win, but we’re just optimising a little in favour of our most regular members. Cool huh!?
Second, with our Pragmatic Studio giveaway we are moving to an annual giveaway, meaning all of your entries through the year will get counted towards the final draw! This means you could have significantly more chances to win as you can obtain significantly more entries into the competition! Awesome, don’t ya think!?
As mentioned a little earlier we’ve also taken the opportunity to streamline things behind the scenes which means we’ll have more time to work on other cool stuff - such as our partnership with the mighty PragProg - where this coming week alone there will be FIVE chances to win one of their books via their author AMAs which they are doing in support of codebar. Check them out under the codebar-spotlight tag!
