Which legimate ones are they referring to?
The world is full of pirates:
Meanwhile a “legal” actions of corporations:
Instead they could:
For sure we talk a lot about corporation copyrights, but almost nobody mentions YouTube crazy rules that clearly violate the legal basis of civilized countries, i.e. “the law does not apply retroactively”.
Some corporations “dare” to talk about money they are “losing” because some group are sharing a translated content while they even not release a subbed product on local market. 100% of 0 is still 0, but it’s not obvious for everyone.
Every time I hear anything about “pirating” topics I remind:
DRM
s like Denuvo
- it’s insane that legal players are “pirates”, because the DRM is slowing down the “legal” productDeath Note
that were never dubbed to Polish
language - that’s said … I even didn’t heard about a legal DVDs with just subs on Polish
market. You would say that’s normal today. Sure, but in Japan
there is no problem, so why it’s a problem in other countries?Unreal
series and removing it from all shops - they just forced fans to pirate their productsHere is the modus operandi
of corporations:
All of that just to release their product on one streaming platform with just subs. Who cares about dubbing? Who cares about legal physical copies.
I heard that a corporation who have rights for Oshi no Ko
used one of companies they own to attack using law site wbijam.pl
, because they want to sell said TV serie on some streaming platform with subs. For sure attacking a site for fans which is known for long, long years even from childhood by community would definitely make fans think that’s worth to spend money for said title.
I’m owner of a legal copy of all Once Upon a Time...
DVDs with Polish
dubbing. I definitely prefer a Japanese
series called Hataraku Saibou
, but I still don’t have it’s DVD
s … Why? Because in Poland
everyone is a “pirate”. Also lots of TV series that I saw in Poland
with dubbing have no DVD
release. I don’t understand one thing … They have everything to at least allow people to buy a DVD
on order. Why they can’t do that? Are they just lazy or what? I could understand 10 or 20 years ago, but today such things could be fully automated …
I’m definitely ok for requiring ISP
s to block “piracy” websites as long as we talk about the sites of companies that are (in fact) forcing people to pirate their products if they want to use it. That would definitely help. However what they want to do would in fact destroy fan groups making their products less popular. When seeing loses they would put more money in marketing. When that would not return viewers then they would reduce costs even more. I recommend everyone to find out a work environment and requirements of animators and many, many other people who could be fired in future for said cost reduction.
You know what’s funniest? Please read how pirates lives today. In short “fair trade” is just a marketing for corporations. In fact rich people are using poor people in Africa
, giving them guns and ordering them to attack ships. They would return it untouched if ransom would be paid or all the products including ship would go on black market. In short rich people are attacking poor people in various ways and claiming to be the only good ones where they are the source of the most world problems.
Conclusions? Instead of making of deals reach people fights with each other using poor people. Brilliant sentences in theory and racial discrimination in practice - that’s how the entire world works. I wonder if next generations would be in fact forced to have same life or maybe we would finally realize that only we are the only side that’s loosing in this stupid “game of appearances”.
