I hope some companies using Deno or Node can hop in and help fund that bill, though it’s unlikely.
It definitely sucks. But Larry Ellison is a bully; therefore, Oracle is a bully. Very sad state of affairs.

Evil company and evil man - have you seen the video of him saying if everyone is surveilled they will be on their best behaviour? Vile creature for sure!

Never seen the video, but I’ve seen others of him at his worst and read a few stories of his behaviour.
When people are used to getting what they want, whenever they want, they always end up as monsters. It’s pathetic, repulsive and utterly disgusting!

But on a more serious note, I think people like him are actually brain-damaged in some way - anyone who hoards billions while millions are dying from starvation has something seriously wrong with them.

Being “polite” is the best I could do after watching that video….
It’s more than brain damage; you look into his eyes, and they are dead. He may have some little intelligence, but his soul is dead. Internally, be it mental or spiritual, Larry Ellison is a dead man.

Yup, maybe we need some protections against people at that level who show no signs of empathy or regard for human life of the planet. I actually have some theories as to why we get people or groups of people like that… but maybe that’s a topic for another thread
