Thanks for the guide. Probably best security advice is to try to use, if possible, virtual machines for anything that is not signed or does not come from the App Store. Another one would be to have backups.

It is a bit ironic that the only OS that comes with an antivirus solution is Windows (ignoring here the continuous spying of the OS).

macOS comes with a firewall… which is off by default! :roll_eyes:

I highly recommend Little Snitch, it’s a great way to spot suspicious activity as well as a great way to limit outgoing connections for apps that really don’t need to be dialling home…
