I have only one question: Why? :joy:

Mostly Vim users (CTRL is used a lot) or those who hate CL being hit by accident!

Normal caps lock location for me is remapped to Tab (via keyboard firmware), usually remap Tab to Esc. I use tab/shift tab all the time for moving text around so it is less reach for my pinky, I rarely use caps lock so I keep it on a layer instead of a high value location.

If I recall correctly the globe key brings up the emoji and symbols picker.

ā€œGlobeā€ is changing input sources, by the way

My Caps Lock was for changing input sources, after reading this post, I moved it to the globe key and remapped Caps Lock to Escape instead.

I realised why I didnā€™t recognise the icon as out of all the keyboards I have here, only my most recent one has the globe icon! All the others just have ā€˜fnā€™. Funny thing is I use it all the timeā€¦ for emojis :upside_down_face:
