Just looking through my settings and noticed that Help Apple Improve Search was checked - yet I am almost certain that I did not opt-in to this. Curious whether other macOS users have this checked and if so did you agree to it or did Apple do it without your consent?

Wow, people pay top dollar for their products and they want to pull data from their users? Seems greedy.

Yes, I also didn’t opt-in to “Help Apple Improve Search” but it’s enabled by default. Apple can always opt-in everyone whether the toggle is enabled or disabled. Apple is a multi-trillion dollar corporation that secretly develops all features and functionality of macOS.
