That’s rather old topic as we can’t say that something have a good quality if we are not sure about durability or again of the components - not even mentioning things like privacy. Apple
was good, but expensive and now it’s just expensive. Average consumer would not notice the differences and many consumers usually pays for something they don’t even want (like weird touch keyboard). iOS
limits have no sense from a developer perspective (for example other browser engines).
I wonder how macOS apps compares to Linux
apps, for example to KDE
which have huge amount of options, so using themes and applets can transform desktop to look like any other DE. Also every time I see topic like: macos - How do completely disable automatic system updates in Sequoia? - Ask Different I wonder how anyone could consider such software as ready for production if users are in fact beta-testers (like in M$ case).
