I’m a software engineer from the UK based in Fukuoka, Japan.
I use server-side Kotlin at work, and Elixir for side-projects and fun.

I developed Mergery, a GitHub app that automatically merges pull requests when the checks have passed, which is written in Elixir using Plug (no Phoenix). It’s not open source right now, but once I’m less embarrassed by its testing situation I may open-source it.

I’m currently interested in improving how I design and test systems. Working my way slowly through Domain-Driven Design, and also currently reading the beta release of Testing Elixir, and trying to put the concepts into practice on some side projects.

I started the kyoto.ex Elixir group, but I no longer live in Kyoto so others are managing it now.
