For our second Content Independence Day, we’re giving website owners finer options to manage AI traffic. Instead of a one-size-fits-all block, all customers can now easily distinguish and manage Search, Agent, and Training bots, alongside the new ability to protect ad-monetized pages.
Good move by Cloudflare on this. I think they are underrated in the web space.
Looking forward to using them more, now that free hosting services are extinct and still not many people know that Cloudflare is better than Render, Netlify and even the almighty Vercel…
I really like what Cloudflare is doing, especially with its developer platform. It strikes a great balance between simplicity and affordability. At the same time, though, I can’t help but feel like it’s becoming a cornerstone of the web. It’s a little unsettling to think about what could happen when so much power ends up concentrated in the hands of a single company.
You are right in your assessment and concerns. Cloudflare is everywhere, and when companies get too big, it’s only a matter of time before they turn evil, ala Facebook, Google, and Amazon.
