# What is your experience with Ionic and Capacitor?

I haven’t used Ionic myself but used to hear lots of people say they liked it… not so much now, people seem to be using things like [Flutter Hybrid Framework | Devtalk](http://devtalk.com/flutter)

I was interested in Capacitor because Svelte based hybrid apps can be created using it. People also have used it to create [Elm based hybrid apps](https://bendyworks.com/blog/capacitor-elm).
