# What does svelte offer that React or Vue doesn’t?

There is [this benchmark](https://krausest.github.io/js-framework-benchmark/current.html) which shows that Svelte is faster than React, Vue and Angular, but I think the compilation step and lack of virtual DOM is more than just the raw performance, otherwise I don’t think benchmarks are the most important.
