Nice to see the first Spotlight of the year as well.
I have to stay I was skeptical when serveless came out(I think close to a decade ago if I’m right…). The biggest question was the cost of those CPU cycles, and I recall reading a horror story of someone who got a hefty AWS Lambda bill after some bot decided to wreck havoc on him and his app.
My question was going to be about the cost and I think you answered that in this statement above:
So with that said, I think you’ve made a convincing argument for me to rethink the whole serverless computing dynamic and give it a try.
