To summarize it: both are correct and what they say isn’t mutually exclusive. But a lot of knowledge in modern programming is not reusable and that’s a huge problem.

I think this is why people like frameworks like Phoenix - less magic and less js, but for everyone else, things are stupidly complex. I think @Korbin73 was saying in another thread how it’s easier now just to do iOS dev :upside_down_face:
