# Build Websites with Hugo: Comments in Hugo Input Files

Add a note in the download _.zip file with errata, and include the fact that Hugo silently produces an empty output if it encounters an HTML comment in any of its input files (layouts/index.html, layouts/_/\*.html, etc.).
